One of 100 sets of the Imperial edition. 60 matted hand-colored albumen prints and 200 smaller hand-colored albumen prints in-text by various Japanese photographers (including Kimbei), 10 original color collotype photographs of flowers by Ogawa, 10 frontispieces of mounted original examples of Japanese art, and numerous color plates reproducing notable works of Japanese art. Plates with silk tissue guards. An incredibly fine set, with no visible signs of wear.
