Lacking 1 map, 6 double-page plates and engraved title page; title page, preface and view of "Potosi" detached; large fold-out map of America lacking large portions with a significant tear to center; lower right corner of first 20 pages shaved; many pages with small chipping along lower edge; 1-3 inch tears to some pages; intermittent foxing and darkening, with some pages evenly darkened; vellum significantly worn and partially detached from backstrip; library stamp of State Library Indianapolis, Indiana to p. 1. An unsophisticated copy of this desirable translation of Montanus' atlas, nearly complete.
