A Set of Ten Louis XV Style Parcel Gilt Dining Chairs,
comprising eight side chairs and two armchairs, each having carved shell crest rails above the upholstered back and seat, the armchairs with scrolling armrests, all raised on cabriole legs joined by an X-form stretcher, ending on scrolled turned feet.
Height 46 inches.
Estimate $ 3,000-5,000

Each in overall good, stable, complete condition. Having fairly even gilt finish throughout with light to moderate surface wear, nicks and scratches consistent with age and use. Upholstery worn as visible in image. Chairs labeled for the ABCO Fine Furniture Company of New York, NY. Likely date to the third quarter of the twentieth century.
