Height of sculpture 35 1/2 inches; height of pedestal 40 inches.

Statue in overall good stable condition. Scattered varying degree of dirt build up throughout. Index finger and thumb to left hand overpainted (amateurishly) suggesting repair. Thumb to right hand also overpainted. Some scattered minor chipping to edges and points (such as the tip of the axe blade and some tips to oak leaves). Bottom of oval base with some slightly heavier chipping.
The pedestal is cantilevered so the weight of Lincoln's body is centered on the column. Oval base to sculpture fits well to oval top to pedestal, is stable. Top to pedestal with area of repaired chip. Scattered chipping to edges of pedestal throughout.
