Folio (574/481 x 400/324 mm). Lithographic illustrated title-page on Japan, contents leaf printed in gold, 15 lithographic plates on India paper mounted on larger sheets. Loose in paper portfolio, title and publisher's logo printed in red and black, manuscript note at the bottom designating this 'Exemplaire No.18" (some light browning and creasing). A suite of Steinlein's plates depicting women (and frequently cats) with a larger format lithographic title-page depicting women and an angel in song.
