* An 18th Century Silver Topped Gold, Diamond and Polychrome Enamel 'Carnival Mask' Locket Ring,
consisting of a central white enameled face with rouged lips and cheeks, the upper face containing two diamonds concealed behind a black domino, the mask lifts to reveal a hidden compartment, the ring shoulders contain two old French cut diamonds and green enamel scrolls, the band is accented with black enamel with gold lettering reading "SOVS LE MASQVE LA VERITE".

The ring is an approximate size 6.00. There is some wear to the enamel on the nose and chin of the mask, and on the bottom of the ring shank visible at 10X magnification (pictures provided upon request). All stones intact. Electronic gold tester indicates 18 karat.
