the openwork crest carved to show flowers, rocaille and C-scrolls enclosing the vertical rectangular mirror plate.
Height 26 1/8 x width 18 1/4 inches.
Estimate $400-600

In decent, stable condition. Mirror plate intact with some minor areas of loss to silvering, probably an older replacement. Opening measures: height 15 1/2 (at center) x width 12 1/2. Frame with fairly even gilt finish, having scattered chips with some gesso exposed. With detached segment to the lower-right corner, piece retained.
